Take a Seat!

Since 1933, the Coolidge Corner Theatre has offered the best of cinema and film-related programming to audiences of all ages, creating a vital community through film culture in the heart of Brookline. We are now in the final phase of the Campaign for the Coolidge to expand our mission in new, carefully curated spaces that preserve the beauty of the theatre we know and love while providing amenities to make the Coolidge experience even more welcoming to all. For your donation of $2,500 or more, you can name a seat (or two seats for $4,000) in one of our two new beautiful theaters.

Seat naming donations are fully tax-deductible, and can be made via donor advised funds, check, credit card, wire, or stock transfer. We can also accept group payments or payments in installments.

Plaques can contain messages of one or two lines, up to 30 characters per line (including spaces). Examples include:

• Your name(s)

• The name of a loved one

• The name of someone you wish to honor or remember

• A favorite movie quote

• A special date

Seat naming only applies to campaign gifts received starting November 10, 2022, first-come first-served. The seat you name does not indicate your seating location when attending a screening. Name plaques will remain for the duration of the usable life of the new seats. Please note that this contribution is separate from Coolidge Memberships or Annual Fund gifts.
