The Campaign for the Coolidge allows us to expand our mission in new, carefully curated spaces that preserve the beauty of the theatre we know and love while providing amenities to make the Coolidge experience even more welcoming to all.

Funds from the $12.5 million Campaign will support a breathtaking 14,000 sq. ft. addition that complements our beloved Art Deco movie palace. Thanks to early donors and the incredible support of our members and patrons, the Coolidge has achieved over 90% of our campaign goal and construction has officially begun. The campaign has now entered its public phase, and we invite everyone to join as we embark on this once-in-a-generation transformational project to ensure the vitality of the Coolidge for future generations.
THE NEXT ACT OF A BELOVED CULTURAL LANDMARK
Since 1933, the Coolidge Corner Theatre has offered the best of cinema and film-related programming to audiences of all ages, creating a vital community through film culture in the heart of Brookline. Pre-pandemic, more than 247,000 people attended our 7,500+ screenings and events on an annual basis. During our closure, thousands flocked to our virtual film programming and outdoor screenings. As we begin our path to recovery, we face the same challenges we did before the pandemic: our iconic movie-house can no longer stretch to meet the needs of our ever-expanding audience.
